March and April blow out

I experienced a a fast and fun filled eight weeks blended with the rocks, strainers, and natural obstacles associated with work.  And due to being a full time paddler, father, husband, coach, and employee at Eckerd College I have neglected my posting obligations.  In the next few days Sean and I will catch you up on all of our adventures.   As a teaser we have…

• Participated in the Eckerd College Environmental Film Festival
• Coached at the Sweetwater Sea Kayak Symposium
• Kayaked Silver River
• Kayaked and camped on the Oklawaha river
• Went to see Thomas the Tank Engine with my son
• Sean did some surfing
• We paddled and camped on an island off of Dunedin to recharge
• The next day I paddled to a different island with Sam
• Coached at ECCKF for H2Outfitters
• Assisted in running Sweetwater Kayaks‘ booth at ECCKF
• Watched the movie “127 Hours“
• Found a new IPA the Hopsecutioner
• Organized our team of 5 instructors on how to best coach this weekends Water Safety class to 30 people
• And looked over charts to plan our next adventure
