East Coast Canoe and Kayak Festival: April 17-19, 2009

I am headed to ECCKF in Charlston, SC.  This is a great weekend to “immerse yourself in a full weekend of the history, technique, hands-on experience, and fun of canoeing and kayaking. The East Coast Canoe and Kayak Festival will include lectures, on and off the water classes, and demonstrations directed to the novice and the experienced paddler.”

I will be working as an instructor with H2Outfitters.  I also am looking forward to hanging out with some of my friends and acquaintances who are presenting this year: Cathy Piffath, Chris Raab, Dubside, Jeff Cooper, Ken Fink, Nigel Foster, and Russell Farrow.

  1. I had a great time working with the H2Outfitters staff. We taught a lot of people new to kayaking during the day. In the evening we ate in Charleston. That city has some great five star restaurants. I am looking forward to working with Cathy, Jeff & the rest of the H2Outfitters team again.
