VA members of Tampa’s Team River Runner are having a kayak fishing and barbeque in Fort Desoto Florida Saturday December 12, 2008.
We are meeting at 10:00am next to Topwater Kayak Outpost. This kayak rental location in Ft. Desoto is allowing us to park and launch from their location. They are also giving veterans who need to rent a boat a discount for this event. Joshua Sheldon who runs it is a veteran. There are pavilions and bathrooms located across the street from the launch for our barbeque. People who plan to fish need to provide their own fishing gear, and have a Florida saltwater fishing license.
